Cookies Policy of Mennica Polska S.A. (Mint of Poland)
1. Personal data
Except for information collected via cookies and similar technologies, no information about the users (hereinafter: “Website Users”) shall be collected automatically on our websites at: inwestycje.mennica.com.pl, mennica.com.pl (hereinafter: “Website”).
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files, which are stored on the terminal device of the Website User (e.g. a computer, a tablet or a smartphone that are hereinafter referred to as the “Device”) and are used to identify the user via the web application. For instance, when you use the online store and put products into the basket, the online store application must recognise which of the open baskets is yours, and this is the main reason for using cookies. The online store application places a cookie with a unique number on your Device. At any time while going through various sites of the online store, the application recognises your Device and knows which basket is yours. If no cookie was saved on your Device, then after vising another website and after returning to the store, the application would “forget” what was in your basket. Cookies can also be used for marketing purposes, which is discussed in more detail in item 8 below. In addition to cookies, on our Website, we may use technologies similar to cookies in their operation. The information in this document referring to cookies also applies to technologies similar to cookies.
3. Who places cookies?
The entity which places cookies on the Website User’s Device and obtains access to them is the Website operator – Mennica Polska Spółka Akcyjna (hereinafter referred to as “Mennica Polska S.A.”, “MP”, “Mint” or “Mint of Poland”).
4. Who uses cookies and for how long?
Cookies are used by the Mint in relation to the functioning of the online store and registration for the newsletter – these data are transferred to Mennica Polska S.A. Information on the manner of your usage of our site are transferred to social media, advertising and analytical partners, such as: Facebook, Google and HotJar. The partners can combine this information with other data received from you or collected while using their services.
5. Can you delete cookies?
You can delete cookies from your Device at any time. You can also disable the collection and use of information about you for advertising targeting. Cookies can be deleted or disabled directly at the level of the Device. In the majority of instances, functions allowing setting up the cookies are enabled in web browsers. Information about their deactivation is included by providers of web browsers (e.g. in help files or technical documentation). Information about deactivation of cookies can also be found on special websites – e.g. the mechanism enabling users to choose whether to enable or disable the collection of information about them to handle advertising targeting can be found here: http://www.aboutads.info/choices and http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
