Description

In the St. Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk, a monumental astronomical clock designed
by Hans Düringer has been operating since 1470. It is one of the oldest
and largest surviving clocks of its kind in Poland, displaying lunar phases, zodiac signs
and the liturgical calendar. At noon, it presents the traditional procession
of the Apostles. The silver coin faithfully recreates the historic design in a precisely
crafted collector’s form.
