The technological potential of the Mint of Poland enables the development of top quality minting products.
In recent years, the Mint has added new services to its portfolio. For example, it produces local ducats, and to date its services have been used by almost 200 cities and local authorities across Poland. It is currently also involved in electronic payments, real estate development and precious metals trading. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange for over a decade.
The Mint of Poland is the only producer of investment gold in Poland.
It is also the largest distributor of gold in the country and an important supplier of gold in the region. The Capital Group of the Mint of Poland is the only Polish producer of circulation and collector coins issued by the National Bank of Poland. It also produces coins to order for central banks in other countries and is one of the world's leading producers of circulation and collector coins.
We have been a world leader in the production of coins and minting products for over 255 years.
In 1766, King Stanislaw August Poniatowski decided to establish a mint. His intention was to create a company that would produce the most beautiful coins on the Old Continent. This mission is still being fulfilled. Today, the Mint of Poland is a leading producer of circulation and collector coins in Poland and Europe.
The designers and minters of the Mint of Poland also carry out orders for foreign issuers and numismatic companies.
The Mint also mints medals and decorations. It has received numerous prestigious awards, including the 2006 award for “The Most Beautiful Circulation Coin in the World – Expo 2005 Two-zloty Coin.” In 2009, the coins minted by the Mint of Poland won an award in the prestigious Machina Design Awards competition, whose jury included Paolo Pininfarina, Andrzej Pągowski and Ewa Minge.
