Description
In 1855, Sweden issued a three-skilling stamp that was meant to be printed
in blue-green. By coincidence, one sheet appeared in yellow — a simple mishap
that turned into a legend. Only one known example has survived to this day, kept
as a treasure by the philatelic world. The silver coin recreates the texture of the paper,
the colour tone and the delicate traces of time on the original. It tells the story of how
chance can transform an error into one of history’s most prized collectibles.
